<hi style=afpcap>An F-16A of the 177th Fighter Group, New Jersey Air National Guard in Atlantic City, in flight on a routine mission. The four blade-shaped antennas in front of the pilot identify this as the F-16A ADF (Air Defense Fighter) and are associated with the Teledyne/E-Systems AN/APX-109 Mk XII AIFF (Advanced Identification, Friend or Foe) system which distinguishes friendly from hostile aircraft. In the mid-1990s, the Air National Guard was retiring its F-16 ADFs in favor of newer F-16C models.</hi>
